Quite conscious of the fact I haven’t blogged in ages so I though I would put a quick post up about attending the European Judo Championships in Vienna this week.

OK, obviously there will be some problems with flights and I am sure I will spend time sat around in airports but I am actually looking forward to the trip.

This trip marks an important point in the evolution of the new Judo degree being launched at Anglia Ruskin University. This is the first time we will be advertising the course openly, we have flyers and posters, the EJU have given us a stand and we will also attend the research conference. Hopefully people will be interested.

The EJU now has four coaching awards:

The EJU Level 3 Award delivered in partnership with the Judospace Educational Institute

The Level 4 and Level 5 Awards in partnership with Anglia Ruskin University, Cambridge, UK.
•The Level 6 Award in partnership with the University of Tor Vergata in Rome.

The flyer for the Level 4 and 5 awards can be downloaded here

There is more information on all of the awards at
